Trevor Noah is a South African stand-up comedian, political commentator, television host, and writer. 

Born and raised in South Africa, where he faced challenges being mixed-race in an apartheid state that outlawed interracial relationships. Noah became the host of The Daily Show and the Grammys for five consecutive years. In 2016, Trevor Noah’s Born A Crime was published and eventually adapted for young readers in 2019. The memoir detailing his traumatic childhood in South Africa became the number 1 New York Times Bestseller.
